What happens when you have no ideas at all? Add memes. as far as pony things go this is just an animatic essentially moving pictures its actually nothing, whyd you upload this animatic? who gives a fuck put WIPS on DA or other sites, this is for fullflashes not half or even somewhat done shit.

the voice actors need alot of work there way to close to the mic and sometimes way to quiet, the music I like for the atmosphere it goes along nicley with the moving pictures but ditch the memes and write in something a 12 year old would't think of.

Your review seems a little biased. What you're doing is basing your entire review on the fact that we have a single meme in our animatic - and you seem to be ignoring the other 99% of it. To state that "Double Rainboom" has no ideas or creativity based simply on a single shot is - to put it bluntly - ignorant.

Using profane language with regards to the fact that this is an animatic - and not a finished work - is unprofessional. We're not ones to shy away from blunt criticism - as long as that criticism is constructive. It also shows your lack of understanding of the animation pipeline. An animatic is not a work-in-progress. It is a very specific and separate entity that is used to establish timing. The reasoning behind posting this animatic was three-fold:

1) It allowed us to get feedback on the direction of the film, as well as on the timing. It is through critiquing one another that we gain a better understanding of our skills and flaws - and better our individual films and artistic understanding.
2) Build hype up for the film and recruit animators and background artists for the crew.
3) And help to educate/inspire those who wish to learn more about the process behind creating a professional piece of animation.

However, we do appreciate your feedback on the sound quality of our voice actresses. We do agree that the sound level for Rainbow Dash was too loud and we've scaled it back for the finished version. And thank you for your kind - if brief - words on the orchestral score.

This was quite reminising to egos old work, but in actuality its one of the few ego type parodies that sound the closest to him kudos to that.

Its like 5 years ago, if you would of made something like this and Called it like fuckin' awesomefox assault and put inspired by Egoraptor at the start or beginning you would of gotten alot of props but in this day and age, people flip the fuck out over copying.

Like, egos done the sloppy, drunk, one take stuff something im quite fond of and have been doing sense 08 but No one knows, because no one looks into stuff, everyone just assumes and moves on.

Lets make a list of just what egos done

-Drunk takes, slurring, lazy editing, jump cuts
- Cherry and cream shading style
-Random faces and Screaming
-souly frame by frame warped anatomy

Now what are you left with? fucking' nothing. If all flashes were bland one dimensional cartoons that never broke reality, never broke away from uni-formal anatomy, simple voice acting, perfectly
well crafted, youd get something like Family Guy and by god NO ONE wants that.

Its just, There have been HUNDREDS of cartoon shows that have warped and broken the laws a cartoon to me isnt ment to be this straight style, a cartoon is suppose to be a fucking rubbery trip on a runaway acid train. Ren and Stimpy, Rockos modern life, FUCK even SPONGEBOB did similar shit to ego.

Ego came to NG in what 2006? and Ego has inspired hundreds I know this may sound stupid but Didnt Edd fans do the same thing? And people never shit bricks when similar edd flashes appeared in the portal. Its just mind boggling.

Really, you should just home your style, keep at it...yup.

Oh my god. Were the words that sprang out of my mouth when I saw that Spazkid himself had posted a review on MY flash. And what's more, he's not bashing my animation mindlessly for being similar to egoraptor's. I am left absolutely speechless :D
Even though I wasn't trying to copy egoraptor, in the end, this piece was ridiculously similar to his work. I agree, hundreds, if not thousands of people before egoraptor have used this comedic, crazy, loud style, and whether or not you include it in your animations is a matter of preference, not a means to gain fame.
If this had been similar to any other author on newgrounds, people wouldn't be flipping out about it. It just seems they get very defensive when it comes to egoraptor.
You guys said it yourselves in your collab project 'egorapture', which I loved by the way, that whenever something similar to egoraptor pops up people freak the fuck out and act like it's a crime against humanity.

Being one of my massive animation influences, it is absolutely mind-blowing to have you compliment my piece like this, as 'Street Fighter Chode' is my favourite animation of all time and I even modeled wolf's voice after the general from it.

I've had to hold back the tears as I read your review, as I am absolutely overwhelmed for the support you've given me, as one of my inspirations.

I'll be honest I was surprised.

The previous episodes and even the mini in between UNECESSARY skits were really awkward and seemed rushed. But this was surprisingly a huge improvement, Mainly with the animation and art, I noticed how more animate it was and how much more shade was apparent, which really does make a difference, Though when it shot to them when they weren't in "Convo Mode" the lines were more thicker and the lack of shade was kinda off, and alot of the time it almost made me turn away, you should keep consistency with lines size it really does help.

Id also like if youd stop using that really stupid and unfunny Nylock joke you've been using sense uhh... the fucking begining of this "show" It is possible to kill a joke so bad and you've proven that. Now You should REALLY get your story straight, To me it just seems convoluted as fuck, Im getting the whole separate character break away thing but I sweat EVERY EPISODE theres a handful of random characters who just sorta come out of no where with no background or anything, I honestly dont even get the point of this shit. Like the devil Guy, like is he gonna get his own backstory now?

TO BE HONEST, perhaps the next episode you should maybe deticate the whole episode to explaing the story and fixing all the annoying plot holes cuz im lost as hell. Id also like to say all though you are shading now and thats very apparent your color choices for the secondary shade are really ugly, Like nylocks darkshade with the whole redish green look looks terrible, You should consider a more natural shade style and not make everything seem so dull.

But good job I guess, I hope you take this in consideration for further episodes.
